Miss Manteo High pageant crowns new winner, ends with Harlem Shake

The poise and charm of junior Alex Parrish won over judges of Saturday night’s Miss Manteo High Pageant. Parrish beat 11 other contests when he earned the title of 2013 Miss Manteo High. To celebrate, Parrish led the other contestants and their sponsors in the “Harlem Shake.”
